Re: mokomoko fs frame swaps trade steel hardtail may sell
vague memories of a question asked, but rudely not answered are being stirred.
the kilaeua may once have been in my possession.
The kilaeua was from spain originally. A student bought it when he was travelling over there, loved it and brought it back to the UK. The crack he was told occurred when this was a very young bike, it had been very effectively but rather not very prettily repaired when it was pretty much a new bike and has ridden without issue since then.
The bike i am told lived on a very hot and dusty farm, it may have been an orange farm, or perhaps olives or even donkeys, but the type of farm i do not really know.
I know when i took the bike apart it was very easy to do, and there was no sign of this bike having spent any time in wet conditions.
the weld repair will last longer than any other weld on that bike though
