Modern retro bike?

I can't see the British builders taking on Taiwan any time soon in batch production of frames . It is good that the chap is trying to do this if people get a decent safe product at a reasonable price and he can make a business of it .

The price on this steel hardtail is cheap... for now. Completes start at $2100 usd.

A bit slack for my liking, but I like to see steel being offered at a lower price point

The industry is in for a difficult time though. There's a page about the impact of tariffs

"What This Means for You
🔥 Inventory will be limited – Many items may sell out quickly and restocks will take longer.

📈 Prices are likely to increase – Tariffs on bikes and parts have risen as high as 185%, impacting nearly everything we import.

🛒 Now is the time to buy – Ordering now is your best bet to lock in availability and current pricing."

Yeah, it isn't cheap but when Cotic are charging £1200 for a euro built frame I guess it's all relative? Anyway, I wasn't really commenting on the price, more on the geometry and intended use, which is what most use their old bikes for these day I think?
