Modern gubbins, On-one Inbred frame- geared or SS

Dr S

Old School Grand Master
Eyup,
EDIT EDIT EDIT-Due to bullshit pub bravado I bought a what I thought was a Single Speed Inbred frameset. Being a wimp I decided not to build it up and get a 456 instead and build a 9 speed inbred to save my knackered knees. So I bought another Inbred, a Summer 456 only to discover today that the original purchase has cable mounts and can be SS or geared- DOH!

So i have a brand new shiney Inbred frame, still in the box which will land on my doorstep any day now, it will be new and unopened and will never have seen a spanner. Its an 18" CTT but with loads of standover height when built. Its built for a 100mm fork and is in Sand colour. Sliding horizontal dropouts for SS and gears!!

I paid £159 and will take a slight hit at £150 posted to your door.

Please buy it before the wife sees it :? :o    :?

did you get the 456 summer in the black?
nice mean looking bike

Yes, thats the fella- its a matt finish that you can see the welds and tubes through, it will look nasty when built up.

Update on the frame fiasco- called the guy i bought the frame from and he says it has cable guides and can be geared or single speed!!

So now have a geared or SS 18" inbred in Sand (for 80-100mm fork) for sale £150 posted.

Please buy it someone before the missus gets home and kicks my ass :!:

I was in a simlar position earlier this week with a Cotic, ended up keeping it managed to talk the wife around, only to get a call from her today to say whats this other box you have had delivered from France ;)

Btw did you managed to find out the size of those spider bolts mate?

Reduced- £130 posted to your door. Will put it on eBay Tonight if not sold.

Sizings are 18" CTT, 15.5 CTT with 23.5" effective top tube

Brand spanky new!

slightly off topic but have you got your summer456 yet?
just been on there site and for £125 looks too cheap?
is it ok ?

cheers rob

Which one are you selling, I'm confused ?

I assume the more expensive older frame?
(not the summer 456 that is not SS capable)

Hey I'm new to new bikes.

Btw what does 'freeride' mean wrt to the Summer456

It's the slot drop out standard Inbred I'm selling not the summer.

Not sure what any of these new lables mean- a new one turns up every week. From what I can work out All mountain means that they weigh about the same as one, I think Freeride is a bike that has escaped another Labour stealth tax on technicallity- might explain why they are so cheap!
