Still, you have a nice Roberts and a Marin Team to ride haven't you!!

The marin is kept for sentimental reasons...its been mine since new...doesnt really get used anymore. The Roberts is too pretty to use all that often...very much a summer bike.

Most my riding over the past few years has been done on the 2005 KHS and then the 2008 Epic. The 2010 t'inbred is to probably going to take the place of the KHS.

(actually thats all a lie, my RC100 has seen more use over the winter than any of my mountain bikes, and the bike which has seen the most use over the last year is my Mtrax racer that I use for commuting, the KHS & Epic only really come out to play on biking weekends...once a month or so)

I'd go for the 456, the inbred although fab is just another xc bike, the 456 is a ride anywhere bike which is quite exciting plus the summer season or the normal version are really cool 8)

Strangely though I find myself interested in their alloy Scandal 26er frames, I seem to be moving from steel to alloy in my frame choices :?

Inbred

I have heard that this batch of Inbred with the sliding dropout is the last in this current style.
There was a word about it on the news page on the on one site. The Ti version is staying but the steel sliding dropout version didnt meet the new euro safety standards.
So if anybody likes the current version they should get one soon.
I read this originally last week on the MTBR singlespeed forum and went and read the news but as of saturday it was no longer mentioned on the on one site :?

I don't think that they make a sliding dropout version (like the old 853 Inbreds) now anyway.

All the current ones are what they call slot dropout (ie - track ends) with adjustment slots on the caliper mount.
