Modern chainset.... anything considered.

I've damaged the threads on my Shimano Deore M590 chainset (drive side) so on the look out for a replacement.

Other than the damaged threads its new so I'd like to reuse the chainrings - 104 BCD - I think.

Anything considered but preferably Shimano so its a straight fix.

Probably looking to spend up to £50ish for decent parts.

you do know you can get a new complete deore m590 chainset for £49 or thereabouts?

Yeah, was maybe thinking of upgrading to SLX/XT.

Just seeing what is out there. Got my eye on a few things on the bay but thought I'd ask here.

Think I'm sorted with an SLX one off pinkbike.
