Come on Dave your an engineer , you must have realized you can lower a suspension fork . I'm really surprised this isn't common on here .

It is pinkbike so expect a lot of pinkbike type replys in those 80 pages , About 60 pages are " can I lower my xyz ?"
I'd go for an older BAM arch marzocchi , the M arch would look too new and you can find some later ones that don't have the early Z1 premium . For very little money you could have some low , stiff ( think of all that stanchion overlap ) forks that are marzocchi plush and the matching 10 year service life too .
