Hi,

Just thought I'd post a few pics of an MKM Ultimate a friend has just finished putting together. I'm afraid I don't know enough to fill out the Spec Sheet but hopefully the pics speak for themselves...

Very Nice! I saw a car this morning in that "burnt orange" colour and thought "that would look great on a bike".

Just a quick question.....were all the MKM Ultimate's brazed or did the very early ones have lugs ? I have it in my mind I saw one about 1977 / 78 and I am sure it had lugs.

All brazed I am sure. With the design having the seat tube intercepting the down tube it's the only way. Steve Elsworth was the magic man with the lugless work.

Tell me about it! I bang my heel on the rear mech on mine! Leads to unexpected gear changes at awkward moments.

Liking that.... would change the stem to a 1R though.....and perhaps the pedals straps
