Mk1 mavic crossride (yellow hubs) freehub

does anyone know how to remove the freehub on these first gen crossride wheels?

I wrongly assumed they were similar to most other mavics where you can undo the nuts and simply pull the freehub off which gives you access to the pawls. On these the axle pulls out but the freehub is still stuck to the hub body!

nothing that I can find on the mavic tech website either!

any help will be appreciated

Unfortunately they are a bugger. I've got two pairs and had to take one to a local wheel builder as the pawls had seized and I couldn't work out how to remove the freehub. He managed to remove the freehub but said they were designed to be non-serviceable, which would explain why I couldn't remove it. He had to replace the bearings with a 'best fit' option as there is no replacement part available and they've not been the same since.
