110bcd, slider is held on with 4 little Allen bolts. Needs spacers (which I have) for the inner ring and seems to have washers for the outer ring too. Have 175L stamped on them.

Thanks!

RS3 I think...

The spiders look to be RS2 though.

I've just sold a couple - have a quick look in my FS thread and see if they're the same maybe...?

Hard to tell from the pictures actually. They look like RS2.
Post a picture of the rear and I'll tell you for definate.

RS2-3 (and HD) spider fits onto a square shape on the crank with four small bolts.
RS2 have a circular profile cut out in the rear. Straight along their length when viewed from the side unlike any others. (except maybe RS1)
RS3 have two circular profile cut outs with a ridge between them.
RS-HD have a smaller oval profile cut out with the edges being flat and larger than any other.
RS7 very similar front to the RS3, BB square is at 45 degree angle to the RS2-3 (and HD) the flat faces the pedal hole rather than the corner, the rear has a large single very smooth 'scolloped' cut out which is far smoother than any previous models. Spider fits on to teeth on the crank and is held on with a lock ring, there is more than one fitting but they all AFAIK can be modified to fit each other.
RS8 is identicle to RS7 except the sides are cut away almost flat to save weight. EDIT: There is more machining done to these than I thought. From the RS7 material is removed from the sides of the crank, the pedal end of the crank, and on the rear where the square taper is. Possibly the scalloped section on the rear is deeper as well. Around 45g lighter than the RS7.

I've never seen RS1 in real life so don't really know about them.

They're RS2s.

RS1s and RS2s are non-low profile (essentially, they both have flat plate spiders, with Granny ring spacers) the arms are straight when viewed from above. RS1s have a circular pedal end, and an bolt securing the spider.

RS3s are low-profile, the spider is shaped (not flat plate) so that the granny ring attaches directly to it without spacers. The arms (when viewed from above) are curved, and fit into the spaider, same as RS7s (RS7s have the spider attached via a spline, RS3s have a square, RS7s are also forged).

Now I'm not on my phone - yes they are RS2.

The bottom picture in the previous thread aren't RS8, they are RS7.

I happen to have a spare RS8 at work so I'll take a picture in a minute.

make sure you loctite the allen screws in as the can work loose and you end up with four snapped 2.5mm bolts to drill out - guess how I know? On the plus side I managed to drill out all four without damaging the crank threads, ran a M2.5 tap down them and good as new :)

RS8:

If anyone has any spare Middleburn cranks, I need: 2x drive side RS8, NDS RS7, NDS RS3
