Yep there prob better but wanted. To put full xtr onto her, I would have built it this way had I got her many years ago, lie put the black ones towards my manitou project .

:shock: well it's taken a long time but hey ho never was going to get done quickly ,,had the forks cut and mounted at lbs,,,didn't want to mess them up,,, :roll: pick the girl up Friday and twenty odd years in the waiting I'm going to ride my all time fave bike merlin,,

well finally done with bit help from lbs ,,opted to put spacer onto forks so i didnt need to cut them , worked out ok for now,,,not most interesting of build sorry just plane xtr no syncros gear or fancy callipers ,,,but this is how i would have built her if i managed to get one years ago,,thanks to retro bikers who helped with parts,,,
