Mcmahon 18.5 inch restored Ti frame-set (and down again!!!)

Tool for the b-bracket

In answer to your question which bemused myself too at the time.

I made one from a length of flat steel, cut out a clearance hole for the spindle and drilled 4 holes round it to correspond with the ones on the bracket shell..

Next step was find a couple of 2.5mm (old ones!) cut down to just the right length and these slide into the tool and the shell..

Basic but Hell, it works..

PM tomorrow i will send you a pic of the one i made

Drewson has some spare McMahon Suspension forks, if you're interested?

Nice - I've been thinking about what forks to use. Would like some rigid MRC forks but not likely to come by those in a hurry!

Better pay for the thing first and see what funds I have left

Got the frame today and christ, it's as stunning as the pics above :D

It'll probably be a bit too big for me as well it turns out . Saying that, i've been waiting for an unashamed excuse to use purple bits and pieces..looks like I'll be having a busy summer with this and the bonty to lash together :)
