Mavic Helium Shimano Clincher

The iconic lightweight wheel from the 90s.
Not used for the past four years and only sparingly before that.
Bearings replaced a season before the wheels were put in the shed.
Plenty of life left in the rims.
Wheels are not perfectly true but pretty good.

Rear 860g

That's weighed on my bog standard kitchen scales - not fancy digital ones - but should be about right.

These weigh just over 1500g - which compares pretty well with a good set of Kysriums even today.

I've an identical pair, they are 1720g excluding skewers, only the Mavic ES 10 year anniversary hoops weigh around 1500g.
Great wheels though and spin up superbly.
