Merry Christmas to one and all :xmas-wink:

I'm hoping to get out tomorrow to burn off a few of the extra calories I've consumed over the last couple of days

I think it's time to replace the headset on my Gitane, it currently has a Campag one in, but not sure about which one
It has that horrible self-centering syndrome, and I can't loosen it enough to get rid of it, so I'm thinking of replacing it with a Mavic one. If I can find one at a reasonable price.
Does anyone know what the stack height of Mavic headsets is? Any model, whatever I can get my hands on, really.
I looked on Sheldons' site, but failed to find any info there.

Alternatively, could I just take the headset cups out and turn them around? :?

Thanks, and I wish you all a Happy New Year too! :xmas-wink:

Mavic stack height.

Moving the races (headset cups) in your existing headset will just make for even more unusual handling in my opinion.

Reference the link below to Hilary Stone for a few Mavic 315's for sale.
