Mavic disc wheel ?

I've been offered a Specialized mtb cheap, don't know the year or model but its an early one apparently and has hardly been used

Its got a Mavic disc rear wheel of some sort :? as I don't know anything about disc wheels at all :? is it likely to be decent :?: or two plastic discs cable tied to a no name wheel with some Mavic stickers

If there were decent Mavic mtb disc wheels, it is likely to be one as the one bit of information I do have about it is who owned it and they would have had access to anything they wanted

So did Mavic do decent disc wheels in the early nineties :?: I don't want to rip them off so it would be nice to know if they are worth anything.

I only know of tioga or sugino discs. Not uncommon to have stickers though.

Mavic do (did?) road discs but I'm not sure I've heard of an MTB disc?

Mavic rod discs was called Comette .

black with yellow stickers .

Weren't there cheap discs that you actually snapped onto the spokes? A friend of mine used one back in '90 but I have no idea why..
