The rear drive side feels a bit stiff so want to take a look inside and resolve whatever the cause is. I've no experience with this particular hub/freehub. Does anyone have any experience with them who can advise on the procedure, or can point me in the direction of a manual?

Cheers. On closer inspection the freehub seems OK so it's going to be an axle bearing. Don't suppose you (or anyone else) knows how to remove one? I've not played with mavic hubs before and don't want to break them.

Re:

I do know you need a pin spanner and that the bearings are preloaded. I did have the bearing numbers somewhere, will see if i can find them ( although they were for 1st gen Crossrides)

I've found with mavics that unless you know the month (or week!) in which it was built, the only way to guarantee that parts fitted match the exploded diagram/tech drawings is to actually measure them.

Had bearing sizes and spoke counts/lengths that don't match and one wheel (that i even had the serial number for) that the importer sent the wrong length spokes twice.
