After a clear out in my Dad's shed yesterday I've found a few bits and bobs and first up is this rim.
It was bought as part of a pair but I have no idea where the second rim is (f I could find it then I'd be getting a new pair of wheels built myself).
It's 32 hole and has the bronze finish, sticker is nice and tidy, I was concerned that there was some pitting but after a clean on a few points it looks like it will buff up nicely.

Then...
XT M730 cranks.
Great condition overall, I remember spending hours as a kid polishing these into a mirror finish. They have been in storage for maybe 12 years or so and are still tidy, would buff up well again with just a little elbow grease.
Problem is with the driveside extractor thread, the first half of the thread is damaged. They were like this back in the 90s when I bought them. all other threads and tapers are fine.
