Matching paint for zolatone Marins.

When the zolatone marins were sold new they were supplied with small pot of grey zolatone paint. Has anyone got one these pots lying about, itd be dead handy in finding a supplier of new stuff.

Plasticote do a textured grey that is akin to the light grey zolatone. Available in spray cans from B&Q. Search this forum for the correct term to google search for 'proper' zolatone. (Seem to remember they don't make the correct colours anymore - but hey I'm old and my brain ain't what it used to be)

I had a peek at their website a few months ago and they don't appear to do the frying pan paint any more, just vandal-proof splatter stuff.

On second thoughts, that might look quite retro too.... :?

I dont think plastikotes going to cut it but thanks for pointing it out, I wasnt aware it was available.

Im convinced that someone must produce a damn close alternative, check out 90B 666 of http://www.colorflecks.com/premier_series.pdf. It looks like a similar texture but nowhere near dark enough. Zolatone polomyx range looks close too but I cant find colour samples on the web.

If I could just find a pot of that original paint..........................
