I got the crown back the other day with a new steerer fitted and ive decided to paint the crown black. Im gonna have to find a silver chris king headset in silver now though, because black against black doesn't match and obviously i cant have that :facepalm:

Ideally id like a polished crown but realistically i could sand it for days and it would still be too pitted for me to be satisfied with, the only way for it to not let these forks down i decided was to paint it. its not had as many coats of paint as the fork legs because id like the paint to harden sometime this year

the steerer tube has also been replaced with a linger one (thanks to splitty21)
