Just picked this up locally(ish) Not sure what to do with it as yet (suggestions), pretty much original apart from pedals which I have and the seat, even seems to have the original tyres Panaracer Smoke/dart.

Well, you got this far, ownership brings responsibility , of this marin.

Assuming you know your stuff....I would lightly restore where you just replace what is needed to get it riding safely. Brake blocks, chain/cassette. Etc....

A full strip down is recommended as the bottom bracket (if original) will be stubborn, grindy, and a crap lp30 or such like.

Get stuck in!

Strip down and clean. Paint looks okay. Regrease hub and BB bearings. Remove seat post and grease. New saddle, chain, brake pads probably. Replace or recondition cables/outers. If you’re feeling flash, new decals. Get those bar ends dropped down. By that time you’ve invested so much you’ll never part with it.
