well almost ! just need new chain and seat bolt
spec tange frame and forks
wheels: araya rims and hubs
stem : marin original
bars: marin original
brakes: shimano exage country
gears: shimano exage country 7spd
seatpost: marin original
grips: no name (had in the toolbox)
saddle: charge spoon (it was free)
pedals: dmr v12 mag
crankset: shimano hollotech 2 lx

got the bike as gift from my sister didnt look too good.
had full strip all metals polished and frame and forks had full re-spray
the only new items i replaced are : crankset , freewheel , grips , and cables.

thanks go out to gil m for the smashing decals
and deadrats for the red ano parts

Nice Gotta love the fluro Muirwoods. Was very tempted by one bitd but my mate was getting a Palisades so I didn't want something below his in the pecking order.

What version is the Charge Spoon saddle? Ti or CrMO? I can see no logo in the pic.
I've recognized that the R on the Marin decal looks different than mine.
Can someone confirm the difference from 1989 to 1990/91?

the charge saddle is the cromo version but it was free so cant complain its going on my white xc bike and will fit the black one from that
i would like to point out that the marin seattube race proven decal is not the correct one but its the only one of this era that gill had on file
the tange decal was carefully removed and reused as noone had pink ones!

There is nothing wrong with the Spoon cromo. Same performance. Nobodys behind will notice any difference.
I'm happy that you put it on so i could see what my bike will look like in the future. I'm only after the Ti version because of the blue lettering. I will put that one on my Eldridge Grade.

The Marin 'R' is different to the OE 90 decals I have - not sure when they changed - just thought they went thinner ?
