Frame - CroMo steel - a few spots of superificial rust. Photo is of the worst bit. But as you can see, its pretty good for 30yr old bike.
No dents or dings. Fork is straight. The paint inside the rear stays says its not been run much. No big chain slap dings etc.
The rest of it: 80% complete. Here's the bad news: No front wheel. No pedals (there were plakky and awful) removed and junked.
No seat pin lever - bummer! The left hand changer is NOT original.
Everything else is original.
Right-hand changers, cranks, front and rear mech, all Shimano Altus C10 - and nice enough nick, not trashed or mangled. Brakes - incl all the nuts etc. all original. Boy are the brake-bolts short! Seat pin is free and moving - phew. I gave the BB a good try but failed to budge it.
Headset: Ritchey logic - all there. Think those may be the original grips - gone a bit yukky.
The rear wheel is a nice Araya - rim wear is nothing - and it appears to run true. Seat is original (same green as the bars and stem) but stuffed.
Bike is originally sold in Oxford. Been in town a while. . £50 - Buyer collects from Oxford.
