There's a bare Pro-Floater front triangle and swingarm on the ebay at the moment, I'm thinking about buying it but i wanted to find out if the hardware was easy to come by (in other words was it all custom bushings or just standard sealed bearings) It's a 1995/1996 frame judging by the box section swingarm and i'm sure i've seen complete bikes with a pretty standard looking Noleen shock, but i know nothing about the pivot hardware - anyone help me out here?

The post at the bottom says he thinks it's got an 1" headtube, this make it pre '95. A lot of early swing arms failed and were replaced with the box ones. Looking at the picture, it's missing the pressed in bottom bracket and main pivot spindle, not to mention the shock.

The original Noleen item will be next to impossible to find but Risse can supply an air shock, about £150.

The pivot & bottom bracket were bespoke items, so spares are probably unlikely at best. It's nothing that can't be over come, but will require a friendly machine shop that is happy to do 1 off work, allow £30-40 an hour.

What has put me off is that it's priced at $99, i missed out on one last yeat, bidding finnished at $125ish for a frame with all the parts.

I had exactly the same Mantis in 1996. I don't think that this one on auction has a 1" headtube though. This very much looks like a 1996 model. These bikes were made by Control Tech and had 1 1/8" headtubes. Also the bushings were very simple (copper washers, nothing fancy). I see that the bolts are missing also. No problem, ordinary allenbolts will fit. Don't know what the exact size was. But also, nothing fancy.
The Noleen shock wil indeed be a no go. Take Risse or ask Fox to make you a custom (they will, but it will cost ya, but hte frame is worth it).
When you do have the chance to buy, take it. It is the best fully I ever had. Luckily I know where mine went and I'm pressing the current owner to sell it back to me
Oh yeah, mine had a normal bracket, not a press fit.
Here's mine
