Mansfield Anodisers ~ Anybody

Spoke to the guys on Friday, very helpful but they really need to see the items to give you a definate price

Didn't seemed to bothered about the colour you wanted and I am going to include a genuine Paul green spring mount in the hope they can get a near match, not that easy I guess with anodising

Price seemed to be around £40, this did include polishing though, I will get the parts off in the post this week and report back once I have a price and possibly an end result

Might be worth following if you are thinking of having something similar done

Here's the before picture

Well, 3 weeks almost to the day and here's the end result

The levers had had more use than the canti arms and consequently have a few small marks in the finish but generally I am very impressed.

Parts needed to be polished and this is the time consuming/expensive part of the deal, these parts were "tickled" rather than showroom finished and then anodised green.

Colour is a little darker than the original Paul button I had, a nice deep colour though.

Total cost including VAT and carriage £42.00

So could i get a frame anodised or would the chemical process be detremental to the strength of the frame ...

Thoughts pls gents ....

I have always fancied a nice Green or Red Zaskar frame !!!
