Manitou knowledge please! **Photo added now**

Rang up LBS this morning to see what forks they had in stock, as I wanted to get rid of those fugly Rock Shock J2's that came with the LTS.

Lady luck was in store and has blessed me with LBS doing a straight exchange for some Manitou's.

Great.....but I dont know what they are, as stickers are removed :roll:

Any help in identification welcome!

They are:
black legs, canti/V brake studs, disc tab, pre-load adjustor on left leg, magnesium casting sticker on bottom of right leg.

Oh, forgot to add, there are grease ports on the back of each leg.

Hard to say....maybe a little newer??

Brace is at the front, curved, with canti studs as I'm running V's. But, it also has a disc tab.


They look very similar, maybe identical actually, to Manitou Mars forks. But I cant find any Mars with disc tabs :? SPESHMIKE has Mars Carbon on his S-Works FSR.....but they dont have disc tabs. His bike is '99.
