Looks like this was on ebay and I didn't know it and it has sold, so thanks for your efforts but it looks like it was all in vain.

yeah, that looked a mint one. Had all the bits you needed, just add wheels and drivetrain.

The cnc part of the seatstay bridge on the fs is mental and i'm not surprised it's liable to crack. This is a part that i will be tweaking with a new cnc part.

I'm assuming that the spring kits will help sort out the pogo effect on these bikes? Too late if not as they're on order now.

No not at all, I was just told about it by someone that knows the seller, he obviously didn't know it was already on ebay. Personally I wouldn't have paid half that for it so he is better off using ebay, financially anyway.

i picked up jimmy's one which i'm playing about with. had a quick build up and as a stock frame it is pants.
but some machining work and new springs should sort it out and since it's not a showstopper/b.o.t.m. contender condition then i can ride it till it dies.

I would have thought adding undamped springs would make them worse? At least elastomers have a degree of inherent damping.

see, that's what i'm not sure off. it's that wings kit of the bay. i haven't seen reviews so don't know.
i thought i would try them out and if they are crap then back to the elastomers or see if someone makes air cartidges like in the old Judys.

I read most stuff posted on the site and have a good memory, which means I usually remember a keyword or author to type in to the forum search

mmm...i think i will play around with the manitou internals and see what can be done.
