why not simply take my pic and say: quoted the image from xxx ...done!

No need to butthurt and no need to jump from one extreme to the other!

Now... good luck with your search! These have become very rare - especially with the rich pink and a 1.25 steerer. I still have about 8 or 9 which I am keeping in my collection for now.

If someone uses your images in a for sale advert or in another way designed to deceive the forum members , of course call them out and flag up the usage.

But a pair of 30 year generic old forks , in a wanted advert taken from Google images - posted by a member that’s long standing to illustate exactly what he’s looking for …

You could have just messaged the OP if the picture meant so much to you and you needed to be credited or asked.

It’s beyond my horizon that it could even bother someone that a poster uses a picture they’ve taken of a fork on a forum.

You created an issue when there isn’t one. I’m just calling you out on it as others have too
