Malverns Classic 2025

What were the placings in the show and shine? I saw the Nishiki won. Was the RM Summit second?

I seriously thought about coming this year, would have been the first time since 1991, but with a family of five and travel from Scotland, plus accommodation (I hate camping) to add onto the extortionate day only price, it just wasn't worth it. Agree with a comment made earlier that a day ticket to wander about and enter the retro show and shine for about a tenner would be ideal. I'm not interested in the other stuff and I'd be bored with three/four days of it so for me anyway £65 day ticket is not money well spent. Maybe this will be recognised for future events or maybe York might be a worthy alternative?

I think that was it Adrian. Not sure on third place though. Saw that the RM Summit was 2nd on Instagram earlier this morning (by looking at photo evidence only).

Wife's Birthday on BH Monday and back to work yesterday meant I've been slow to post.
Dead chuffed that the Ice Man "O" took 3rd place in a very strong field of Entries in the Show and Shine.
Had a great weekend with the Retrobike crowd - always good to put faces to names.
Didn't get to race in the Retro XC as I'd been disorganized and by the time I went to register - all the places were gone. Was later told it was because of a mix up with the Kids XC race number boards and they had only printed 100 for both races 🤦🏻
My Show and Shine entries were both of my Prototypes - the Ice Man "O" and Serotta Off-road Pro-flex. Got some great compliments on both ....and quite a few more on my Retro ride/ Show and Shine transportation!

Cheers all. Thank you to everyone that was there and stopped to chat.
