Magura hs33 lever question

Hi,

Upon installing this set of hs33's, I noticed a difference in the lever assembly between the right and left hand lever:

Both levers seem to function OK, but it seems the L\H is a bit off: should/can this be fixed?

Is that not adjusted out with the red knob (reach adjustment)

Or am I being dim

Hi,

That's not dim at all: I thought so too at first ..
But the L/H lever cannot be adjusted by the red wheel anymore, while the other can.
So, it's probably something different.

Are you sure you don’t need to replace the red adjuster?

Often the metal pin the red adjuster clips on to snaps, might be the issue.

That's definitely just the difference between adjusted fully in and fully out, it could be what ishaw mentions (if the knob turns freely with no obvious adjustment) or it could just be seized from being turned too hard in one direction and not being touched for a while. Spray some lube in the back of the adjuster, leave it for a bit then try and back the adjuster off gently with pliers.
