Thanks Jim for the effort but they both look bent at the end which seems to be a common problem there is a guy on here who repairs them I have messaged him and I am waiting for a reply.

I have now sorted the adjuster screw problem I have made 2 as the other brass one was bent and weak .I used 2 M6 steel screws and nuts
1. super glued a nut on each screw
2. Ground down the nut to the suitable size.
3. Cut to length .
4.Tomorrow I will take to a guy up the road to have the inner cable hole drilled through on his lathe.
I hope this might help anyone else who needs an adjuster screw.
