Not a very good ad either, no information given - length of steerer? triple-butted or plain-gauge? and in fact they look to me as though they're the modern 44cm a-c, which the buyer may or may not want/need.

but why pay £58 posted? £30 posted should get you a pair of tb P2s, no need to pay more IMO.

You have evidence? Most TBs are sold on eBay without the fact even being mentioned, so in practice there isn't much difference in average sale price.

Not evidence I can lay before you, but when I was searching for a pair on Ebay last year, any TB's with a decent steerer length, in good condition, were going for £50+.
I, myself , was offered £75 for mine, with 220mm steerer. I turned it down.

Gosh, I wouldn't have. There were some tb for £25 in the For Sale section yesterday, can't remember who was selling them though.

Admittedly they were threaded, but if threaded is worth so much less, what happened to all this retro thing that was supposed to be driving the market?
