M800 First Build

ive seen them on bottom bracket shells but never on a head tube.

If it were my frame, id fill the hole and get it painted over.

Deffo! Looks nasty! (The nipple, that is!)
Just bear in mind that if you do fill the hole, the powdercoat won't stick to that bit!

I wish people wouldn't be so negative about my extra nipple i like it and i dot want it cut off (just Kidding) Thanks for the help

Ive used a filler before from a company called "frost" its an aluminium filler that you heat with a blowtorch to fully harden it.
This stuff goes really hard.
Ive used it on tooling jigs when Ive had a whoopsie with my router at work rather than spend a fortune on a new jig.

The result is a really good and hard metal based filler that can be sanded or filed flat and is hardly noticeable.

Ill post the link when I can find it.

If its metal based shouldnt powdercoat stick to it?

Nice Beast! When I was in college I stripped and buffed my first M800 to a nice matte polished finish and then gave it some black decals. Looked very good! You're already almost done with the paint...just dump the rest and buff her up!
