M800 First Build

nitro-mors is what i am using the striping is not the problem i am not too sure about polishing all the scratches and dings out of it it will take ages. someone pass the wire wool or maybee the wife can do it. i like the sound of a un-painted polished bike though

mt gt rts was in a very poor state when I bought it and really needed a decent polish.

I used a brillo pad to start with (the ones with the pink soap in) and a bucket of water.

Next I used some wet and dry sand paper (used wet).

Lastly I finished it off with good old T-cut and a yellow duster.


I got such a good finish that in the end I did the swing arm and exhaust silencer on my crosser :oops:

wow i love the look i think the wife has some polishing to do it looks great. could i put some laquer over the top to keep it in that condition or is it best just polished

autosol and duraglit work well too say the mrs :lol:

mine is bare alloy and i give it a quick t-cut every now and again.
