Thank goodness you rescued it in the nick of time! Frame number should give the year if you're lucky, I think Sheldon may have the info but post it up here anyway, you never know your luck.

Needs some m735ish type stuff I reckon...

Mine has solid forks, is front sus a later model addition or is it personal choice?

Would you rob LX parts from your yet to be completed Lava Dome rebuild, or is that sacrilegious?

The red is a similar but lighter colour to mine, looks ok and yes I would rob some LX kit to fit....

I'm considering decking mine out with m900/m910... I'll fire a pic up shortly

Mine was bought as a new frame that had never been built up - it spent it's first 20 odd years living in the store room of a Raleigh dealer. I got it for £30 when the dealer closed down. So the forks - and everything else - were brand new and contemporary. Retro frame, new parts.
