Having an enforced day off due to ill health (which isn't good in the first place as I'm self employed :roll: ) has left me with little option other than to peruse the classifieds and ebay, and has left me feeling I might want another, earlier Kona frame, as in 1994/95/96, to go with the much loved '98 Karma Kona Hahanna, or whatever he is....
So, looking for:
16" frame, could possibly go to 17". Would like ahead and 1 1/8", higher than Hahanna/Fire Mountain level, and steel or aluminium, don't care.
P2's or suitable sus forks, preferably with a longer steerer so could add spacers.
A decent headset as I have none at all now, doesn't have to be period to the frame.
Having no money for the above reasons and others, as cheap as possible or preferably in swap for various stuff I have, off the top of my head at the mo I have:
Marin Hawk Hill frame, 17" centre to top (alu, year 2000 I think), various wheels but nothing that special, Hope 31.8 non QR seat clamp, Hope head doctor type SFN replacer, Syncros stem with no top cap, loads of other stems and 'bars, DMR V12's, probably a spare rear mech or two, no doubt there's still a chainset or two out there as well....
