I was asked to look at an old bike today whilst out working, bear with me here.
It's a deffo respray with Condor stickers, but I'm pretty sure it's not a Condor.
The frame has very fancy Nervex lugs and the number on the BB shell reads, 1 followed by a 1 on it's side followed by 83
It has downtube braze ons and does appear to be for 700c wheels, not 100% sure as it has canti bosses.
The wheels are Campag large flange with straight levers and oil ports. on G40s
The chainset is a Gran Sport item
The brakes are ancient Mafac cantis.
The gears are later Shimano offerings.
And the bars and stem are GB Hidindium? and diddy bars
Any ideas? that number suggests a shop build to me. And the reason I don't thin it was a Condor, is that I thought most old Condors had Condor or a C engraved somewhere>
