This made me chuckle ignoring the fact its Thomson not Thompson.

He didn't advertise the diameter of the seat post so I asked hoping its the size I need!

Hi the diameter is 1&1/2 inches :shock:

check it will be long enough for you; with minimum insertion of 100 mm, you would be looking at quite a sort post - visible section wold be approx 10 mm from the 'T' in Thomson.
