I just wondered whether it was possible to compile lists of parts that were available and the years that they were available.
For instance, i'm building a 1991 bike and I want to get some handlebars for it. I can only remember handlebars that I've owned in the past and as such, every build I do tends to revert back to what I know. If I want to put year correct components on it, where do I look?
Bits that I'd class as exciting tend to stick in mind, so I can run lists of hubs off, for example. But give me a relatively mundane part (like a handlebar), and I'm screwed.
Has this been done already and if so, where is the list? If not, can we start a list??
