Like a dog with two..... ( car content)

Nearly!

A 1967 ozzy country buggy,Mine and Bens volksworld project for the 2009 volksworld show.

They only built about 900 RHD versions and only a hand full survive.
This one has a show quality floorpan under that og body and was running a 912 motor for the show.

Ben bought my half of the project out and is getting it mot'd for the summer. No it's not bagged, that's the height!! :D

Just three reasons why a slammed vw is cooler than any stock factory built French car.

FACT! :D
I don't think any of them look cool.

Slammed cars just look retarded, to me.

I've no problem with reducing the ride height a bit, but when the ride height obscures the top of the wheels it just looks stupid, to say nothing of being un-aesthetic.

Takes all sorts!!

I thought you would like the slammed look,as you could tap your pipe on the ground to clear the baccy out,Grandad!!

Anyway enough of this!!

The big news is I have been welcomed as a full member of particular VW Resto cal club!!

I now feel like a dog with 3 tails!!

Look pretty cool to me! Are there any roads in the UK smooth enough to drive em on the deck or is it a Halfords car park meet jobbie

I'm more of a French hot hatch fan though, 205's R21 Turbos, ZX16v's. Love 80's cars, some 70's and lots of pretty 60's cars. Can't stand all the soulless modern turd :x Newest car I own is a 1993.

So is/will yours be adjustable while driving?

I'm another to have suffered from going too low. Alfa is fine until you go two up and a load of camping gear then its hitting the bump stops and showering following cars with sparks. It also has a nasty habit of sucking stones off the floor and spitting them out the back. One such stone broke the screen on a friends M3 last summer. That and the fact that he couldn't keep up made him very grumpy

On the DS, great cars, innovative yes, but not the first with discs and not the first with crumple zones (Mercedes). Bastards to work on for sure, not very engaging to drive and looks are not to everyones taste. Would I have another? Probably.

Congrats al

Cheers fella!

And no it's not the GFK i'm in! My car's not a show car.

I drove it around the yard today! The sound of the front valance being ground down is so satisfying!!

wu can see the similarities

but when the ride height obscures the top of the wheels it just looks stupid, to say nothing of being un-aesthetic.

This is exactly what makes a car look good . There's a photo of a car in another thread owned by a footballers bint with big arches and big wheels and lots of space between the two , maybe it's more your thing :P

One of my escorts had the axle come into contact with the chassis rail far too often , the snap oversteer got very tiring ; half way round a corner " BANG " and your throwing a load of opposite lock in while shouting " straight line ! straight line ! "
