During the seventies, Phil Brown and Doug White decided to build bicycle frames. They made more jerseys than bikes.

Later on, Doug started his own company, White Industries.

I guess you noticed that it is a little mud-spattered. When you have as many jerseys as I do, sometimes your wife isn't in any hurry to wash the old wool ones by hand.

Not really retro, this was printed by a Czech magazine to commemorate the 30th anniversay of the first Repack race.

I know the guy on the left. He lives about six blocks away from me. I don't know the guy on the right.

Don't really go for lycra but did find this mid nineties Pace jersey at the bottom of my cycling drawer!


And some socks, the Syncros ones are from '95 and still in use today as they are bombproof (I have a couple of pairs). The ones on the right were a giveaway from Maximum Mountain Bike Magazine. Anyone remember it? No I didn't think so, it only lasted a few months.
