hi all
as of late it seems i have been spending alot of time searching on late 80's thru early 90's rocky mountains. started with the thread i posted on my stratos. i then stumbled on the titanium thread. now there are several experience threads happening. gotta love those e-stay bikes!!! my latest interest is in the avalanche. another elusive model it would seem. only available for a couple years then dropped? renamed? i have heard. so i'm asking, does anyone own one to post pictures of? or have pictures of someone else's bike. i haven't had any luck searching here myself. all i find are gt's. :x the scans of the catalogues leave something to be desired with respects to pictures. in the flesh would be nice.
thanks in advance

There is the bike test in the archive http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/mai ... emId=22813

They where not actually built by Rocky Mountain but by a Japanese (I think) firm called Toyo. Dekerf may be able to shed some light on it as he (from some previous chat) said he visited to factory during that time when he worked at Rocky Mountain, I assume while training and learning.
and certainly a couple of bikes on here.

Beautiful example of the frame here
