Now I like to think sometimes things happen for a reason.........

I saw the bike that THM is going to drive many many miles to pick up tomorrow. I wanted that bike so bad but alas it was far too big for my normal sized frame. Unlike some of the gangly giants (like THM) that we have on here.

Feeling a bit dejected about missing out on a bargain, I soldiered on as normal.

Until last night when PING something pops up on my local Facebook Freebay site, and my eyes nearly popped out :shock: :shock: :shock:

Had a nervous 1/2 hour waiting for the advertiser to answer me. Then BANG yes he still had it and it was mine............

So a very very short 8 mile round trip this morning and NIRVANA

A few scrapes and touch ups but nothing horrendous, apparently he bought it new rode it a few times, and then stuck it in the attic after giving it a wipe over with an oily rag Even got the original brake pads :shock: :shock:

Everything moves and is smooth

The Saddle and bottle have gone already
