A close look at the Modolo 919 anatomic hoods will reveal that they are (were) in fact textured to supposedly resemble pigskin.

Motobecane went even further. Hoods and handlebar cover are made of some kind of rubber but they are textured like leather and even have molded stitches.

Hi, unfortunately these hoods will not fit, but luckily I can make you a set for Mafac levers. I am out of town for a weekend but as soon as I get home I can send you a few photos of hoods that I made for customer from France.
