Last night we lost our dog......Don't worry happy ending....

I remember the fear when our dog ran off... The wife was in tears..... We split up and I spent half an hour in 9 inches of snow trying to find her in Croxteth park... Ran back to the wife to see the dog sat at her feet, tail wagging. She turned up as I left but I didn't have my phone on me.

Out in Suffolk with my lurcher bitch, all public footpaths... up pops a deer and it takes off..

I watch as it crosses a large field, turns 90 degrees and into the distance... with a white lurcher bitch right up its chuff. . . . .

So there's me and a friend, standing at the edge of this field, watching helplessly as deer and dog go out of sight at an alarming rate of knots. . .

20 minutes later my dog returns.. tongue hanging out.. looking somewhat pleased with herself.

The deer would have been unharmed, if not a little tired.

Relieved?? Yup!!

Buck rabbit.... male... Doe rabbit.... female...

Same as deer with some differences in appearance if you know what to look for...

i think your mad putting your head/shoulders/arms in rabbit holes  you dont know whats down there! een if it is for your dog

Didn't even occur to me. I am the biggest wuss when it comes to spiders and general creapy crawlies but again that wasn't a consideration.

Need to work in my digging with hands alone though - Barely made a dent in the soil.
