laminate flooring - which way round

I would look at the subfloor and decide based on the direction of the joists, running my laminate perpendicular to the joists.

Don't use beading for the expansion gap. Whip off all the skirts and re-install or renew above the flooring.

Normally yes but as its a conservatory all of it is a glazed area so does that still apply?
