The 'Harry hold-you-firm' remains a favourite with the officers' wives that frequent the Mess. I prefer port and a cigar.

Sent out some bits to a member on here for postage only, only to hear nothing back from the guy, let alone having my postage covered.. :roll: !

Actually the first time during my years of RB membership to run into someone like this; most other interactions have been simply pleasant :D!

In a similar vein, I've spent the weekend listing various items on ebay, Facebook sale pages etc. 4 potential sales have all gone quiet despite proclaiming publicly they'll take said goods or asked for my Pp address.
Sign of the times, people are no-longer as good as their word.
