I don't have to be an actor to form an opinion on whether I think an actor gave a good performance. I wonder how painting bike parts got to be so special?
Girlonbike, I have to have some idea of what I would be hiring, no?
Grounddoggy, I've heard that argument before, but it helps to have some expertise on a subject, so that your opinion carries a bit more weight. If not an actor, you should at least be a film buff. But, nothing beats first hand knowledge of the craft.
As for painting bikes/parts, it can be special, but not always
