KOOKA 'TEAM KLEIN' CRANKSET RETRO KULT VINTAGE 90'S

Fair enough, that's unequivocal evidence if ever there were any but I am still suprised. I guess as you wouldn't see the unpainted spots with chainrings attached he didn't see it as important :?

in an attempt to back pedal a bit, when seen mounted to the frame in that thread I would never have even noticed those points so I guess if you look for faults they can be found in anything.

still suprised though

We all stand corrected.

Not me. I still think it looks terrible. Everybody has a bad day I suppose but that doesn't mean they get a pass on bad work.

Just my 2 cents. I wouldn't buy it unless it's redone or dirt cheap so I could just strip it and re-anodize it.

We are all corrected since this is definitely the work of Jonrock. That doesn't mean you have to like it (personally I hate the dolomite scheme in general) but there's no more questioning the sellers description.

hmmm, "bad work"? I've seen much worse.

Guess it speaks well of your work when all of it can be set to the high standard established by your other work. This isn't perfection, but it's far from bad, for what it is.

Girlonbike, care to share some of your work, painted, not anodized? Seems like you might have some great stuff to show 8)

Sure, you'll have to hire me to see my work. I do not earn my keep as a professional or semi-professional bike painter. And, thank you. :D

I don't have to be an actor to form an opinion on whether I think an actor gave a good performance. I wonder how painting bike parts got to be so special?

Just my two cents, but it looks like John painted these just for fun to see how they would match with the frame, can't recall him painting cranks in general. The paint won't last long anyway .......... assuming this will go on a Klein that will get ridden
