kona v brake bracket

When converting older konas to v brakes a specialist bracket can be fitted on the top tube for the back brake, so i read a while back. Anyone know the name of the company who engineers the bracket?

I think you can get them from Billy's, but probably from other places as well. I'm not sure you could use one with a 93 Kilauea though - they clamp on to a round tube and the Kilauea's top tube is quite seriously oval. Maybe it would work, but I'm not sure I'd fancy it.

If you have the dog collar canti cable guide, most people use that - you can drill out the rear-facing hole until it is big enough to accept a ferrule (?). Best to use a plastic ferrule though, as the dog collar is quite soft aluminium and I have heard of them being worn away after a lot of contact with a steel ferrule.
