fuquay gumbo fork

hope someone may be able to point me in the right direction on a value on these greg fuquay gumbo forks
having tried to trade the frame and forks for something with suspension and having no luck my only other option will be to sell the forks and buy a set of suspension for the front

any help would be great cheers in advance

I would be very tempted to keep the forks in the loft....as i fear the value of the frame will be hit hard by the loss of the original fork....only my opinion....but....

i know mate but i just cant afford to keep chucking money at retro bikes so if it pays for some new forks so i can get out and ride its sort of all i can do at the moment totally agree its a real shame

In case of interest to avoid splitting your frameset I have a slightly later Fuquay frame in a similar size which is (or looks to be, not sure if the gumbo forks are longer anyway) suspension corrected. The paintwork isn't as perfect as yours, but otherwise it's in great nick. Have been meaning to put it up for sale for ages but never got around to it... will post some more pics later. Feel free to DM me if interested
