l think you've got carte blanche to use either '97 or '98 decals.

l reckon the blue '97 decals are the nicest on a Hei Hei 8)

I will defo get 1997 decals for it

Anyone got the pic's of how the 1997 look??

Have a look on here on the 97 and 98 catalogues chap.

I think everyone says dont paint as part of the alure to me and many others of titanium is that its such a wonderful material and looks so good in the finish itself, that painting over the top of it is such a shame. Any other material fair enough but titanium is precious!

How about White!...there arent enough white Konas!!

I think you should leave it natural, but with matt titanium coloured decals.

could be interesting.

I believe that's the common consensus Jon.. just don't paint it

No paint why?? :(

Ti just doesn't need to be painted, it's one of the reasons for using Ti as a frame material. The whole point of a HeiHei is the Ti frame, if you painted it, it would be pushed back into the realm of "regular" Kona. In automotive terms, it would be like taking an M3, and making it look like a 318i.

Here's a real 1997 Hei Hei with the blue in 19" form - note also the cable routing.

I have photos of your frame with the blue somewhere on an old hard drive too.

It can look very cool if you leave some parts unpainted, like:
